• What Kind Of Injury Did Rebel Suffer On Last Night’s AEW Dynamite?

On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker & Rebel defeated Nyla Rose & Vickie Guerrero in a Tag Team Match.

Britt made Vickie tap out to win the match. After the match, Nyla put Britt through a Table.

After the match, both Britt and Rebel were helped to the back, but Rebel was legitimately injured.

According to Fightful Select, Rebel suffered a dislocated kneecap, while trying to break up Nyla’s pinfall attempt on Britt.

This type of an injury usually takes about 6 weeks to heal.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (July 1, 1992) – Old School WWF Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 1992, we lost Old School WWF Veteran Uncle Elmer (Real name: Stanley Frazier) at the age of 54 due to kidney failure.

After touring the territories as ‘Playboy Frazier’, Frazier joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1985, where he became known as Uncle Elmer and was part of a Hillbillies faction with Hillbilly Jim, Cousin Luke & Cousin Junior.

Elmer’s biggest claim to fame would probably be, when he got married (for real) on a pre-taped episode of WWF Saturday Night’s Main Event in 1985.

After leaving the WWF in 1986, he went back to the territories, such as the AWA (Minnesota) & CWA (Memphis).

† REST IN PEACE UNCLE ELMER!
