3. Rey Mysterio Returns
The Monday Night Messiah hosted Rey Mysterio’s Retirement Ceremony last week on RAW, but Mysterio couldn’t show up as he was medically uncleared. He and his son Dominik sent a message to Seth Rollins via satellite.
Rollins lost to Aleister Black in the same night, but he and his men took out Black and Humberto Carrillo (who came out to save Black) after the match. They’ll be looking to do the same tonight.
Mysterio is being advertised for tonight’s RAW, but it is unknown if he’ll show up or appear via satellite. He could return tonight to even up the numbers and set up a 6-Man Tag Team match.
WWE could even be planning to have the 6-Man Tag Team match at Backlash, or a one-on-one encounter between Mysterio and Rollins there.
