2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was booed by the fans on the RAW Netflix premiere. However, this isn’t stopping him.

Hulk and Eric Bischoff have started a new wrestling company called ‘Real American Freestyle Wrestling’. While on The Ariel Helwani Show to promote it, Hogan discussed his public image.

Ariel Helwani noted Hulk Hogan’s dedicated fanbase and asked about his relationship with the public.

The Hulkster responded:

“You know they’re still nipping at my heels. I can go out and get booed, the last time I was in LA I was Hollywood Hogan or The Rock can get booed in LA or John Cena can get booed in LA. But, when I get booed, there’s a whole different reaction to it media wise.

For some reason, I’ve laid some kind of groundwork where people are interested in what I’m doing.

Some of them are a part of the team and as riding with the train to the station, that’s great. For all the haters and all the people who have a problem with me, I can’t fix that.

All I can do is prove by my actions that I’m still in the game, I’m still pushing hard. I took a lot of time off, I’ve had a lot of surgeries. I’ve always loved the hunt and I wanna get back in the game.

It’s always been that way for me, because my entire career I had that top spot. During the 80s, I had that where everyone was trying to knock me off that top spot. I’ll trade that for being on the bottom of the pile.

When you get booed, but you get 3.2 million engagement, I’ll take it.”

Hulk Hogan believes some boos are directed at his character, but he also gets cheers elsewhere. He called it a “double-edged sword, it’s part of the character, it’s part of my personal life, it’s part of my professional life, it’s all of the above.”
