• Who Was Responsible For The Latest NXT Releases?

On Friday night, WWE released a total of 13 NXT Superstars, including Giant Zanjeer, Bronson Reed, Bobby Fish, Mercedes Martinez, Jake Atlas, Tyler Rust, Leon Ruff, Asher Hale, Zechariah Smith, Ari Sterling, Desmond Troy, Kona Reeves and referee Stephon Smith.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Old School WWF Legend Triple H (who books NXT) had nothing to do with this decision, as it was Vince McMahon, along with John Laurinaitis & Bruce Prichard who came up with the releases:

“Paul Levesque [HHH] and Shawn Michaels didn’t have anything to do with the cuts. It was done by Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis and the basic gist is that NXT is gonna change.”
