• “Whoever produced this is a m*ron, Braun Strowman is a m*ron” – Jim Cornette Is Not Happy With Last Week’s SmackDown Segment
On last week’s episode of SmackDown, Braun Strowman destroyed the Maximum Male Models and then got bodyslammed by Otis.
Jim Cornette didn’t enjoy this segment and said the following on his podcast:
“Oh God, the Dupris were in the ring. Max Dupri and his sister, her lung lumps were hanging out. But I just couldn’t, when I saw ma.çé and mån.sôör come out. I’m like, ‘I can’t do this’, and as I’m about to hit the fast forward [button] here comes Braun Strowman.
I know he came back last week but we didn’t watch it. But he’s back and he comes out and kills the models, just beats both of them up, bounces them off the railing, Powerbombed one, milked the crowd, I’m back, I’m back.
And then here comes Chad Gable. Now what the f**k? I guess they’re just feeding him insignificant people. They probably wanted to get rid of the models. Maybe they’ve written that off because nobody’s gonna ever take them seriously anyway and especially not now. But I guess they’re feeding Gable and Otis, whatever.
Anyway, Gable comes out and while Braun’s looking at Gable, Otis attacks Strowman from behind, he just kind of nails him from behind, Strowman turns around and looks at him and then beats Otis up and then beats Chad up a bit.
But then Otis comes back and picks Braun Strowman up and slams him, and they leave and then Strowman gets back up and dares him to come back in the ring and slam him again, which Chad won’t let him.
So this went from okay, they’re feeding the new giant that’s just returned insignificant people so he can beat them up to one of the insignificant people has bodyslammed Braun Strowman on TV two weeks after he gets back.
So think, [Big] John Stud is calling Braun. He got 5 years out of milk and people trying to bodyslam him, and never had to take a f**king bump. You f**king m*ron.
Whoever produced this is a m*ron, Braun Strowman is a m*ron, anybody that signed off on this is a m*ron.”
Strowman will face Otis on tonight’s SmackDown. This will be his 1st WWE match since WrestleMania Backlash 2021.

• ON THIS DAY IN WRESTLING HISTORY (September 23, 1995) – The Ultimate Warrior In Germany
On this day in 1995, Otto Wanz’s European pro wrestling promotion CWA Catch Wrestling Association held an event called ‘The Return of the Warrior’ as part of their ‘Catch World Cup 1995’ series.
The Ultimate Warrior (yes, the real one!) was flown in to Hannover, Germany to wrestle former ECW Wrestler Ulf Hermann in the main event of the show.
Also on the card were Ice Train (WCW), Lance Storm (ECW, WCW, WWF), John Hawk (WWF/E’s JBL) and Big Titan (WWF’s Fake Razor Ramon).
