On last night’s episode of SmackDown at Madison Square Garden, Karrion Kross faced AJ Styles and lost the match in just 1 minute and 46 seconds.

According to insider source BWE, the opening Bloodline segment “Trial of The Tribal Chief” was scheduled to be 20 minutes long, but somehow ended up lasting the first 40 minutes of the show (including the part where they showed Jimmy Uso getting loaded into an Ambulance after a commercial break).

This resulted in other segments getting cut short, including Kross’ match against Styles.

According to Fightful Select, the backstage reaction to The Bloodline segment was good:

“We heard a lot of positivity for how The Bloodline segment was received.”

Another Bloodline segment closed the show, as Jey Uso came out and attacked Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, held the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and challenged Roman to a match.

Since SmackDown was loaded, LA Knight couldn’t appear on TV. However, before the show started on TV, he came out in front of the LIVE crowd at MSG.

He beat up Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashante “Thee” Adonis). LA got a big reaction from the fans in New York. You can watch it below:
