SmackDown wrestler Grayson Waller has been on the WWE main roster for a short amount of time and he has already done big things.

At Money In The Bank 2023, he had a segment with WWE Legend John Cena. On last night’s SmackDown, he had WWE Hall of Famer Edge appear on his talk show “The Grayson Waller Effect”.

Edge announced that Grayson would be facing him on SmackDown, as he wants to find out if Grayson will sink or swim.

In his debut match on the WWE main roster, Grayson ended up losing to Edge, but earned Edge’s respect in the process, as Edge said the following after the match:

“Hey Waller, you swam.”

According to WRKD Wrestling, WWE Officials see big things in the future of Waller, who is 33 years old:

“If it wasn’t clear from his work with Cena at Money In The Bank or Edge on SmackDown, Grayson Waller is being set up for a big future.

Many in creative feel that he has the tools, both wrestling and on the mic, to be a future main eventer for years to come.”
