According to WrestleVotes, the immediate future for LA Knight winning a world championship in WWE does not look promising.

When directly asked if there were any plans to give LA Knight a world title run, Joey Votes said the following on WrestleVotes Live: “No, no, no, no.” He elaborated on why he doesn’t believe a championship is imminent: “He hasn’t been a world champion yet. And the longer he goes without being a world champion, I just don’t see it coming, the more it stretches out.”

Despite acknowledging the overwhelming online support, they pointed toward potential unseen issues influencing his push. Joey Votes stated, “I don’t think that everybody loves LA Knight.” TC followed up, suggesting that the problem may stem from personal relationships behind the scenes, noting: “I think there are some people backstage that he might rub the wrong way for whatever reason.”

He drew a parallel to sports where players performing well might still be sidelined due to behavioral issues, stating: “there are things that you may see that no one else sees that kind of give a little bit more indication of why things are going in their career the way they are for them as opposed what’s going on for other people in the locker room.”

The hosts were quick to confirm that despite the championship absence, LA Knight is still positioned as a top talent. He is in the final of The Last Time Is Now tournament and has been featured “in the main event of RAW since coming over from SmackDown as much as anybody else.” Furthermore, he is highly successful financially, as “he sells a lot of merchandise. His figures are always selling.”

The advice given to fans was to temper expectations, suggesting they “just enjoy the fact that he’s on the TV as much as he is. And don’t cry that he’s not champion.” TC noted that sometimes the chase is better than the win, observing, “the fun’s in the chase of the title” and mentioning cases where a premature title run “really plummeted their career.”

The general sentiment remains that while he is a highly valued and frequently featured star, a World Championship reign is not currently in the plans.

As we previously noted, Self Made Pro reported that LA will feud with CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, but is not expected to win. LA will then likely receive “scraps” for his role at WrestleMania 42.
