The Worst WrestleMania Events of All Time – Part 4

2. WWE WrestleMania 29

Jokingly dubbed “Twice In A Lifetime” by a lot of fans, not just the majority, but every single wrestling fan knew the result of the main event right away, after Cena won the Royal Rumble and the WrestleMania 29 main event was announced.

It was very easy to predict that John Cena would get his win back from the Rock, when that year’s WrestleMania Main Event would be the very same one as the previous year, something that only happened once before with Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna main eventing WrestleMania 9 and 10.

Apart from Rock-Cena II there weren’t many highlights, but quite a few odd moments with WWE burying ‘The Next Big Thing’ by having Ryback lose to Mark Henry, and also burying the credibility of Wrestling Legend Chris Jericho by having him put over Fandango, a dancing gimmick that never had the potential to ever be anything more than a mid-carder.

The Results:

• The Shield defeated Big Show, Randy Orton and Sheamus

• Mark Henry defeated Ryback

• Team Hell No defeated Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston

• Fandango defeated Chris Jericho

• Alberto Del Rio defeated Jack Swagger

• The Undertaker defeated CM Punk

• Triple H defeated Brock Lesnar

• John Cena defeated The Rock
