8. This Week’s Raw Turns Out To Be The Second Lowest Rated Episode In Show’s History
In the 23 year long history of Monday Night Raw, this week’s episode of the show turned out to be the second lowest rated episode in the history of the show. This week’s episode was headlined by a tag team match between WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho vs. Enzo & Big Cass.
This week’s episode drew 2.48 million viewers, which is down from last week’s 2.68 million viewers. The viewership for Raw was affected by NFL’s Monday Night Football (8 million viewers) and the US Presidential debate with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton (30 million viewers on cable).
The show turned out to be the second lowest rated edition of the show with a rating of 1.75 (down from previous week’s 1.97). The lowest rated edition of Raw of all time was in the Christmas week of 1996 which had a rating of 1.5.
Speaking of Raw, Seth Rollins was not allowed to get physically involved on this week’s show due to injuring his ribs at Clash of Champions 2016. But Rollins noted on Twitter that he’ll be ready for a fight on next week’s show. Below is what he tweeted:
