According to an update from PWNexus, a planned WrestleMania 41 match could get canceled due to a wrestler getting injured.
Nothing more is known at the moment, except that this injured wrestler is NOT Drew McIntyre.
Update On Drew McIntyre
On the March 28th episode of SmackDown, Drew McIntyre was attacked by Damian Priest, who chokeslammed him on a car windshield.
McIntyre later claimed that he suffered from real glass getting stuck in his eye.
The Scottish Psychopath took to X to show off a photo of himself wearing an eye patch following the attack last Friday. Alongside the photo, McIntyre wrote:
“Do you see who the real villains are now?”

It remains to be seen whether or not the eye patch will be utilized on television to further enhance the storyline, as McIntyre and Priest are sure to continue their feud in the coming weeks.
As we previously noted, PWInsider reported the following about this incident:
“After speaking with additional WWE sources upon their return to the United States, we are told that while McIntyre did receive treatment to have something cleared from his eye after the angle at the scene, we were told today that it was determined that what was removed was not glass. We are also told McIntyre was checked out by WWE medical before leaving SmackDown.”

With both main events now confirmed, this WrestleMania will be the first since 2018 in which neither Royal Rumble winner will headline, leaving this year’s winners, Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair, in an interesting spot.
The last time neither Rumble winner headlined the biggest show of the year was at WrestleMania 34, where Men’s Royal Rumble winner Shinsuke Nakamura challenged AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, and Women’s Royal Rumble winner Asuka challenged Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship (now Women’s World Championship).
