WrestleMania SmackDown Results – Return, New No.1 Contender, Andre Battle Royal Winner Crowned

– WrestleMania SmackDown kicked off with Randy Orton and Pat McAfee arriving to the arena. Nick Aldis gave Pat a contract to sign.

– Randy Orton came to the ring to address Cody Rhodes. Randy said Cody is not a true friend and just takes and takes anything he wants without caring about anyone but himself. Randy claimed McAfee has done more for him in a month than Cody has ever done for him in the entire time he has known him. Orton vowed to defeat Rhodes tomorrow and become a 15-time World Champion.

– 8-Man Tag Team Street Fight: The MFTs def. The Wyatt Sicks

– Maryse returned to WWE programming in a segment where she and The Miz were renewing their wedding vows. Danhausen showed up and accidentally cursed Maryse. Maryse went face-first into the cake.

– Jacob Fatu came out in a police car and said he is not the criminal that Drew McIntyre has been labeling him over the last month. Jacob said no one will be able to save Drew from the beating that awaits him at WrestleMania 42, and after this weekend, Drew will stay in the past and Jacob will move forward into his future.

– WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Damian Priest and R-Truth (c) def. Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller to retain the titles

– Rhea Ripley called WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill a narcissistic, selfish, fake-a$$ b*tch.

– Solo Sikoa wants Tala Tonga to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal tonight.

– No.1 Contenders Match For The Women’s United States Championship: Tiffany Stratton def. Jordynne Grace

– Trick Williams was upset that Sami Zayn hurt Lil Yachty last week, and called Sami to the ring. A Gingerbread Man came out instead and Trick vowed to defeat Sami at WrestleMania 42 and leave Las Vegas as the new United States Champion. Sami made his way out and said over the last 4 months, Trick hasn’t shown him anything that counts in the ring, and called Trick a little punk rookie that has no plan. Sami attacked Trick and laid out The Gingerbread Man. Trick got back up and took out Sami with a Trick Shot.

– In a vignette, Brie Bella said Nikki Bella is still rehabbing her injury, but will make it to their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 42.

– Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria ended in a DQ after WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Irresistible Forces attacked both teams

– Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal: Royce Keys won by eliminating Tala Tonga in the end

– Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came out in the main event segment to address Randy Orton, but was interrupted by World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Cody questioned if Punk is going to kick him in the balls as well. Punk said this is the first time he wore a suit on WWE TV since Teddy Long got married. Punk said he’s proud of Cody and told Rhodes to get the job done tomorrow.

Cody also hyped up Punk and called Punk the new Mr. WrestleMania. Cody said his dad would be proud of Punk. They got emotional and hugged.
