Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming last week on SmackDown, after a one month hiatus, where he went on a vacation with his family.

After his return, WWE ended up advertising that The Tribal Chief will be in action at tonight’s Live Event (untelevised House Show) in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

WWE promoted this as Reigns wrestling for the first time in this city in 4 years. WWE even advertised this show on radio locally in the market, with the show being built around Reigns.

However, just a few days later, WWE clarified that Roman won’t be a part of this show and that there was a mistake.

Apparently, WWE’s promotional team was given an old set of Roman’s dates before they got changed and that’s why they accidentally promoted him for tonight’s event.

WWE is offering a refund to fans until 7:30 PM tonight.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE had sold 3,816 tickets for this Live Event prior to Reigns’ announcement. After they announced that Roman will be wrestling on the show, the tickets sales moved up to 4,521 in just a few days, which is considered big for a House Show.

Roman appeared on last night’s SmackDown as well, and the tension with The Usos continued. Roman also revealed his one regret in WWE. Tap here for the complete results.

After SmackDown went off the air, WWE taped next week’s episode of SmackDown, because the WWE crew will travel to Saudi Arabia next week for the Night Of Champions premium live event.

Roman was a part of this show too. Tap here for the complete spoilers.
