• WWE Almost Released 10 More Wrestlers Last Week

WWE released 18 wrestlers last Thursday due to “budget cuts”. Below is the list:

– Keith Lee

– Karrion Kross

– Nia Jax

– Harry Smith

– Eva Marie

– Mia Yim

– Scarlett Bordeaux

– Ember Moon

– Franky Monet

– Oney Lorcan

– B-Fab

– Jessi Kamea

– Zayda Ramier

– Trey Baxter

– Katrina Kortez

– Jeet Rama

– Gran Metalik

– Lince Dorado

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE was planning to release 10 more wrestlers:

“Of all the people that were cut, there were probably about 10 others that were in strong discussion about being cut.”

While these 10 wrestlers didn’t get released, they are not off the hook and their release could happen soon.

It was also noted that WWE is planning to go in a different direction, by opting for fresh talent.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (November 8, 2020) – Old School WrestleMania Celebrity Passed Away

On this day in 2020, we lost Old School WrestleMania Celebrity Alex Trebek at the age of 80 after fighting pancreatic cancer for almost 2 years.

Alex Trebek was well known as the host of the famous TV game show “Jeopardy!” since 1984.

At WWF WrestleMania VII in 1991, he appeared as a celebrity, who worked not only as an interviewer, but also as the special guest ring announcer for the main event between WWF World Heavyweight Champion Sgt. Slaughter and Hulk Hogan.
