• WWE Announces 156,352 Fans As Official WrestleMania 38 Attendance, Highest Grossing Event Ever

WWE issued the following press release today:

WrestleMania Shatters Revenue & Attendance Records

“WWE® (NYSE: WWE) announced that WrestleMania 38 became WWE’s highest-grossing and most-attended event in company history.

WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza saw 156,352 fans from all 50 states and 53 countries converge on AT&T Stadium in Dallas over the course of two exciting nights, surpassing the previous gate and attendance records set by WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

WrestleMania 39 takes place in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park on Saturday, April 1, 2023 and Sunday, April 2, 2023. Ticket information will be announced later this year.”

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The Usos (c) def. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs to retain the Title (Rick got injured during this match)

– Drew McIntyre def. Happy Corbin (Drew cut the ring ropes after the match with his Sword while trying to attack Madcap Moss)

– The Miz & Logan Paul def. Dominik & Rey Mysterio (Miz turned on Logan after the match)

RAW Women’s Championship Match: Bianca Belair def. Becky Lynch (c) to win the Title

– Cody Rhodes def. Seth Rollins

– The Undertaker said Goodbye on the stage during the WWE Hall Of Fame Class Of 2022 segment.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) def. Ronda Rousey to retain the Title

No Holds Barred Match: Stone Cold Steve Austin def. Kevin Owens

Omos’ undefeated singles streak is over.

Anything Goes Match: Johnny Knoxville def. Sami Zayn

The entire cast of Jackass interfered in this match.

Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Sasha Banks & Naomi def. Carmella & Queen Zelina Vega (c), Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan and Natalya & Shayna Baszler to win the Titles

Sasha’s 0-6 WrestleMania losing streak came to an end with this win.

– Edge def. AJ Styles

Styles was bleeding from his face during his entrance. Edge joined forces with Damian Priest after the match.

– Sheamus & Ridge Holland (with Butch) def. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & King Xavier Woods)

Butch attacked Woods after the match and his team members had to pull him back.

– The Undertaker made his final WrestleMania entrance.

– Pat McAfee def. Austin Theory

– Vince McMahon def. Pat McAfee

This was Vince’s 1st match in 10 years and first WrestleMania match in 12 years. Stone Cold Steve Austin came out after the match and stunner Theory, Vince & Pat.

Title Unification Match: Roman Reigns (c) def. Brock Lesnar (c) to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion
