• WWE Announces Injury To RAW Star
WWE has announced that former Universal Champion Kevin Owens got ‘injured’ on last night’s RAW.
Below is what WWE posted:
Bobby Lashley injures Kevin Owens
“Kevin Owens sustained injuries to both knees when Bobby Lashley viciously wrapped Owens’ legs around a turnbuckle after their match, WWE.com can confirm.
Owens will undergo further evaluation tomorrow to determine the full extent of the damage.”
This is obviously a kayfabe injury angle done to push Lashley’s new image on RAW.
It’s possible that WWE keeps Owens off TV for a few weeks to sell this injury angle.
