6. Lita’s New Role In WWE Revealed, The Shield Has Accomplished Their Goal
WWE Hall of Famer Lita will now be a permanent member of the Pre-Show Analyst Panels on the WWE Network, along with fellow Hall of Famers Jerry “The King” Lawler & Booker T.
She was previously working as a producer in WWE and will now be working the Raw & SmackDown Live’s Pre-Shows on the WWE Network.
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was interviewed at the Quad-Cities River Bandits game on Thursday and he talked about being the #1 Draft pick this year, The Shield’s goal & more. Below are the highlights:
Being The #1 Draft Pick:
“Over the years of the WWE drafts that we’ve had, there’s been less than a handful of No. 1 picks, so to be included in that group is very nice. The top echelon of the roster, there’s a plethora of guys to choose from — Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Randy Orton, all those guys. None of those guys went ahead of me, so to be able to have that feather in my cap is very nice.”
The Shield’s Goal:
“When we started The Shield, this was the goal — to fight each other for the WWE title and the top spot. So we’re right where we wanted to be three years ago. It might not have all happened like we planned it, but the fact of the matter is, we’re all right where we want to be.”
5. Bob Backlund Inducted Into The George Trago/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, Paige & Alberto Del Rio Are Still Dating
WWE Hall of Famer Bob Backlund, who is currently working with Darren Young on WWE Programming as Young’s Life Coach, was inducted into the George Trago/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Backlund is a former 2 time WWF Champion & a former WWF Tag Team Champion. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
There was a rumor going on that Paige & Alberto Del Rio were no longer dating each other. But that rumor is false and below is a recent pic of them together:
During the WWE Draft, Paige was drafted to Raw while Del Rio was drafted to SmackDown Live.
