• Old School WWF/WCW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW/WWF Veteran Johnny B. Badd a.k.a “The Wild Man” Marc Mero celebrates his 56th birthday today.

Johnny B. Badd wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1991 till 1996 and then joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1996, where he wrestled until 1999.

The last time we saw Marc Mero wrestle for a major promotion was during his TNA run in 2005, once again going by his WCW name Johnny B. Badd.

He was married to “Sable” Rena Mero, who is now the wife of “The Beast” Brock Lesnar.

• WWE Champion Kofi Kingston Possibly Injured

At last night’s WWE Live Event in Glens Falls, New York, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston that he won’t compete in a match because he’s injured.

No word yet on what kind of an injury Kofi is dealing with (or if this was just a way of letting him take some time off).

Kofi did wrestle Dolph Ziggler at WWE Live Events this past Saturday & Sunday. Kofi is currently scheduled to defend the WWE Championship against Samoa Joe this Sunday at Extreme Rules 2019 PPV.
