• WWE Changed Plans For AJ Styles’ Return

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles was away from WWE programming since his loss to The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36.

He returned on tonight’s episode of RAW and won the Last Chance Gauntlet Match to qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank 2020 Ladder Match.

However, he wasn’t supposed to return this early as WWE had planned for him to sell the after effects of the Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36 much longer.

Dave Meltzer discussed on Sunday Night’s Main Event Podcast that Styles is being brought back early because RAW has been suffering with low ratings lately. As the show has been featuring a lot of new faces recently, Styles will add some star-power to the show.

He also discussed the possibility of Styles turning babyface now, as he no longer has Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson by his side.
