Highlights from the Kickoff show match between Nia Jax and Alicia Fox is now shown. Up next is the United States Championship match between Rusev & Roman Reigns.
Lana introduces his husband and United States Champion, Rusev. “The Guy” Roman Reigns is out next. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion looks to make the United States Title the exclusive property of the Roman Empire. Rusev is getting the upperhand on Roman and a big “Lets go Roman, Roman Sucks” chant breaks out.
Roman starts getting some momentum but Rusev stops it by throwing him shoulder-first into the steel ring post.
Rusev is now banging Roman’s back into the barricade and then throws him into the steel steps. Rusev goes for the flying headbutt from the top rope but he crashes as Roman moves out of the way. Roman hits a Samoan Drop for a 2 count. Reigns clotheslines Rusev out of the ring and drives him into the barricade and then drives him into the steel steps.
