6. Roman Reigns Defeats Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins Officially Turns Babyface?
On last night’s episode of WWE Raw, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens & “The Guy” Roman Reigns faced off in a rematch of their bout from last week’s Raw. The rematch was contested inside a Steel Cage.
Reigns won the match by escaping the cage (Owens was escaping through the door while Reigns was climbing out of the cage, Reigns landed on the floor 1 second before the Champion to win the match). United States Champion Rusev came out after the match and attacked Reigns. Owens then joined the attack and hit the steel cage gate right in Roman’s face. Rusev & Owens then locked Reigns inside the cage and the Bulgarian Brute locked-in the Accolade on the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This led to Seth Rollins coming out to make the save hit a crossbody on both men from the top of the cage to end the show.
Many fans think Rollins became a babyface on the night Triple H attacked him, but that’s not the case as he still acted as a heel at events after that moment. But last night’s events on Raw definitely points towards an official babyface turn for Rollins in the coming weeks.
