• WWE Could Be Gearing Up For Goldberg vs. Matt Riddle

As seen at SummerSlam 2019, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg absolutely destroyed Dolph Ziggler.

NXT wrestler Matt Riddle, who’s not a fan of Goldberg, was a part of the WWE Watch Along live stream for SummerSlam 2019 and he wasn’t happy with Goldberg’s win.

Riddle threw his footwear when Goldberg pinned Ziggler after hitting a Jackhammer. Riddle was then disappointed that Goldberg didn’t call him out to the ring because he was ready. Riddle revealed that he had an awkward exchange with Goldberg backstage at SummerSlam.

“I’m walking by and see I his locker room,” Riddle said. “I’ve already seen Brock’s, and I see Goldberg’s locker room. And I’m trying to get a peek. I’m looking, I’m looking, all of a sudden ‘pow!’ Big shoulder, 300 pounds at least. It’s Bill Goldberg. He goes, ‘we got some talking to do!’ And I’m like, ‘well we can talk anytime bro!’ He’s like, ‘yeah?’ And I’m like, ‘yeah!’ And I was like, ‘alright, bro, anytime.’ And he’s like, ‘I’m not your bro!’

“And I’m like, ‘Alright, bro. Take it easy. whatever’ And then he’s like, ‘yeah, we’ll see. I’ll see ya later. And hey, it was a pleasure meeting you.’ And I go, ‘the pleasure was all mine, bro.’ And then he goes, ‘I’m not your bro,'” he continued. “And then I walked away, I had to come here.”

Riddle then revealed that he has stolen Goldberg’s finisher, Jackhammer, and has renamed it “Brohammer”. Below is what Riddle said:

“I’ve been using the Jackhammer recently in my matches and I’ve been doing it way better than he [Goldberg] ever could. It’s the Brohammer now. Trust me, if he ever got in the ring, I’d pick him up, hold him in the air for an extended period of time — BOOM — Brohammer!”

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE approved everything Riddle said about Goldberg online:

“Keep in mind this stuff is all approved, if not encouraged by WWE management because if it wasn’t, he wouldn’t be doing it.”

This could most probably mean that WWE could be planning Goldberg vs. Matt Riddle for the WWE Crown Jewel PPV for later this year in Saudi Arabia.

We’ll keep you updated regarding this.
