While the viewership numbers in USA aren’t all that great, the demand for WWE internationally is very high right now.
Puerto Rico paid WWE $1 million to do Backlash over there. WWE already makes around $50 million per show in Saudi Arabia, and they do 2 shows over there every year.
It looks like WWE could make even more money starting next year.
According to Kalico Sports Media, WWE has a massive deal on the table with Dubai:
“WWE have a deal on the table for PPVs in Dubai.
These will be 2 shows per year. Deal ranging from 150/200 Million per show.
The deal will be for 3 years.
This also falls in line with other reports of more International PPVs and TV in 2024.”
