• WWE Discussing Calling Up 2 More Top NXT Stars To The Main Roster, Possible Manager Role

As we noted before, Fightful Select reported that WWE Officials have plans to bring former NXT UK Champion WALTER (now known as Gunther) and former NXT Tag Team Champion Marcel Barthel to the main roster.

This main roster call-up could take place as soon as this Friday’s SmackDown, as they are scheduled to be a part of the blue brand.

Gunther’s stable on NXT was known as Imperium. Fabian Aichner was also a part of it, but he isn’t getting called up as of this writing.

This Tuesday’s episode of NXT 2.0 indicated that Aichner is no longer a part of this group.

In an update, WWE is also discussing bringing up former Million Dollar Champion LA Knight and former NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez to RAW or SmackDown.

Raquel teamed up with Dakota Kai on Saturday to capture the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions at NXT Stand & Deliver. However, they lost the Titles on this week’s NXT 2.0.

Raquel being called up seems more certain than Knight’s call up at this point.

One pitch was made for Knight to be called up as a Manager, because of his good mic skills. No word yet on if WWE Officials prefer Knight to be a Manager more than a Wrestler.
