• Impact Wrestling Official Explains Why He Feels The ‘Cool Heel Character’ Should Be Extinct
During a recent edition of Killing The Town podcast, Impact Wrestling Vice President Don Callis explained why he thinks the ‘cool heel character’ should be extinct.
Below is what Callis said:
“The cool heel is something that should probably be extinct. It is never good if you are a young wrestler, and there’s a bizzillion of them out there. Please don’t be a cool heel. Cool heels are infuriating, because the babyface already has a hard job to do.
In one way, being a babyface is easy, because you just have to listen, in other ways it’s hard because, with the exception of a select few people who are very comfortable doing that babyface thing, it is a hard thing to do. So, don’t make the babyface’s job harder by being the cool guy in the match, and now he’s just the goofy babyface.”

It looks like WWE Doctor Chris Amann, who recently lost his trial against CM Punk, might be in trouble.
Deadspin’s David Bixenspan has released some very interesting things from the recent Punk-Amann trial. It was revealed that Amann’s lawyers filed multiple motions before the trial to keep some topics from being discussed during the trial.
Many motions got sealed, but one motion that didn’t get sealed showed that Amann had a romantic relationship with former WWE Diva Jillian Hall back in the day.
The documents also showed that Amann had a romantic relationship with an indy wrestler who met Amann at a WWE tryout.
This is a huge ethics violation (a doctor having a romantic relationship with his patients). If a doctor starts a relationship with his patient, then they must be removed as the caregiver (but that wasn’t possible as Amann was the only doctor on RAW then).
Below is the statement that WWE issued regarding this:
“We were not aware of this. We are investigating the matter and will determine if any action is warranted.”
Wrestling Observer noted that Amann’s WWE contract expires in October and it’s possible that he doesn’t get re-signed.
