• WWE Drops Plan To Reunite Popular Faction

During the pandemic era of WWE (2020 & 2021), The Hurt Business ruled Monday Night RAW.

This faction (consisting of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) won every title available on the RAW brand: 24/7 Championship, RAW Tag Team Championship, United States Championship & the WWE Championship.

A reunion for this faction has been teased multiple times on WWE programming, with MVP seen talking to Benjamin & Alexander during various backstage segments. He even approached Lashley for it, but Lashley turned it down ‘for now’.

There were reports that a new version of The Hurt Business will be formed, with the inclusion of Omos, when Lashley was feuding with Lesnar and when Omos faced Lesnar at WrestleMania 39, but that didn’t happen either.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE has completely dropped the plans for this reunion:

“They have started it and totally dropped it. Yeah, I mean, we haven’t seen MVP around. We haven’t seen Cedric or Shelton around, nothing.”
