• WWE Files Trademark For “Dean Ambrose”, Consent Form Sent To Jon Moxley
WWE failed to renew the trademark on the “Dean Ambrose” name earlier this year, but they’re interested in doing it again.
WWE filed for this trademark once again and the application has entered into USPTO’s database.
The description reads:
“International Class 041: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members, providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
WWE has now sent a consent form to current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) to sign.

• Old School WWF Manager Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 74th birthday of Old School World Wrestling Federation Manager “Luscious Johnny V” Johnny Valiant (Real name: John L. Sullivan).
Most 80s WWF Fans will remember him as the manager of ‘The Dream Team’ Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, ‘The New Dream Team’ Dino Bravo & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, as well as being the first manager of Demolition, before Mr. Fuji took over.
Johnny and his kayfabe brother “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant got inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame (now WWE Hall of Fame) in 1996 by The British Bulldog & Owen Hart.
