• WWE Grants Gunther’s Special Request As Part Of New Contract

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has solidified his place within the company for the foreseeable future, confirming that he has signed a new contract. The dominant force, who has been a prominent figure in WWE for several years, revealed the news during a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show.

In the interview, Gunther disclosed that the new agreement was finalized towards the end of last year. Notably, the deal includes a specific request from the ‘Ring General’ himself: a tour bus.

Explaining his proactive approach, Gunther stated, “I signed a new contract and a tour bus was part it. I asked for that. What you don’t ask for, you don’t get.” When pressed for a more precise timeframe, Gunther simply confirmed, “End of last year.”

This announcement follows previous reports from last year indicating that Gunther was in the final stages of negotiating a multi-year contract with WWE. This official confirmation underscores WWE’s commitment to the Austrian powerhouse as a cornerstone of their future plans.

With his contract secured and a personalized mode of transportation now part of the arrangement, Gunther is clearly positioned to remain a pivotal figure in the WWE landscape. His immediate focus now shifts to WrestleMania 41, where he is slated to defend his World Heavyweight Title against Jey Uso.

• Jim Johnston Rips Current WWE Theme Songs

During an interview on Podcast Heat Wrestling, legendary former WWF/E music composer Jim Johnston had the following to say about the theme songs of current WWE Superstars:

“It’s almost a frustration to me, the few times I’m going through the cable stations and I land on one of these programs and just everything seems… I’m just shaking my head like what does this music have to do with anything.

We’ve gone from a time when you could be cooking in the kitchen and the TV is two rooms away and you could tell who’s coming out to the ring and now it’s… noise.”

Jim Johnston was released from WWE in 2017.
