MVP made a surprise debut at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam this week, confronting Prince Nana and suggesting that Swerve Strickland might benefit from better management.

His arrival has left fans excited about what’s to come for AEW’s latest addition.

On his Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T praised MVP’s ability to elevate talent, comparing him to Paul Heyman.

“MVP is a guy who, during the pandemic, was one of the MVPs. He did some hell of a work during that time, as well as with Bobby Lashley in The Hurt Business.

He did some really, really good work; he really did,” Booker T said; he highlighted MVP’s capacity to carry the mantle of talent management effectively, stating, “for that reason and that reason only, like a Paul Heyman.”

Booker T also noted MVP’s unique skill in making others look good without needing to wrestle himself –

“We have very few guys who can step into that position that can actually go out there and make somebody look good, and they don’t even have to get in the ring to actually do it. That’s MVP.”

Rumors suggest that MVP may form a new faction in AEW, tentatively named The Hurt Syndicate, with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin potentially joining him. As MVP becomes part of the AEW roster, the potential for a faction like The Hurt Syndicate could significantly alter the AEW landscape, leaving fans eager to see what unfolds next.
