• Roman Reigns On Tough WWE Schedule

During an interview at the WWE For Your Consideration 2018 Emmy nomination campaign, “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns spoke on tough WWE schedule, creating moments that last with fans and more.

Below is what Reigns said:

“We don’t have an offseason. This is a weekly thing for us. 52 weeks a year. And it is grueling, and it is tough, and it’s not meant for everybody. But, when you achieve that goal, when you create those goosebumps… those are real, and regardless of what size crowd you’ve been in front of, or what was the best match, you still get them in the craziest moments, and those are the moments that make you feel truly alive.

And when you see that effect that you have on that lady over there, or the man with his son, you know you’re creating those moments that you’re gonna be a part of for the rest of their life. And I think that’s why our fanbase is so strong, and that’s why it’s global because we’ve been able to share that connection with so many people.”

• WWE Hall of Famer Is In “Really, Really Bad Health”

We noted last month that WWE Hall of Famer Howard Finkel is dealing with health issues. However, there was no update on what exactly he’s dealing with.

One of Finkel’s friends recently noted that Finkel has lost a lot of weight, but it’s not known as of now if the weight loss is related to his current health issues.

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler confirmed the news about Finkel’s health on his ‘Dinner With The King’ podcast. Below is what Lawler said:

“I just heard not long ago that Howard is in really, really bad health. Not good at all. He may have had a stroke. I’m not sure but I just know that he’s not doing well.”

The legendary ring announcer’s most recent work for WWE was at this year’s RAW 25 episode, where his voice was used for The Undertaker’s introduction during entrance. His voice was pre-taped for this segment as he wasn’t able to make the travel.

You can watch Finkel’s WWF debut (from Jan. 17, 1976) below:

The WWFOldSchool team wishes Howard Finkel a speedy recovery.
