At the TNA Rebellion PPV this past Sunday, Moose defeated KC Navarro, Leon Slater, Matt Cardona, El Hijo del Vikingo and Sidney Akeem in an Ultimate X match to retain the X-Division Championship.
During this match, Leon Slater hit an insane Swanton 450 Splash:

WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton of The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express wasn’t happy after watching this and tweeted the following:
“I’m disappointed. Leon gave you his trust and body on the line for an amazing moment & all of you DROPPED him. Thank God he walked away.
In our business, trust is everything and his trust may never be the same.
I will add, don’t agree to stuff if you don’t feel confident and comfortable. Speak up. I assure you, it won’t make you any less of a wrestler.
I just genuinely hoped that everyone could take something from what happened, learn from it, and focus on fixing what’s next. We all make mistakes, myself included, and it’s not about blame.
We, as performers, have to consider those moves and actions with others.”
Jordynne Grace tweeted:
“The higher/heavier/faster the person is falling, the harder it is to catch them. The likelihood of injury to yourself if you do catch them is extremely high.”
Grace got a lot of heat for her tweet, so she deleted it.
A.J. Francis (fka Top Dolla in WWE) tweeted:
“Almost tore my bicep trying to catch him and I’m the only one anybody got any smoke for…
But if I was the guy that moved out the way, yall would try to end my career Just like how everyone who’s f**ked up a dive since me gets a pass…
@LEONSLATER_ himself thanked me.”
Jordynne replied:
“If it was a dive from a normal height, you would have caught him perfectly. This was an impossible task.”
Moose tweeted:
“Everyone wants to chime in on their opinions on Leon’s Dive………SHUT THE F**K UP
I don’t hate fans at all. In fact I understand we need them. But I truly get annoyed about some fans whining and unrealistic expectations. Like why the f**k do I have to publicly apologize over a spot in a match. You don’t know what was said behind close doors. AND YOU WON’T.”
