• WWE Hall Of Famer Returning To RAW Next Week

RAW Commentator Corey Graves is getting married to former SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella and they are going on their honeymoon.

This means Corey won’t be available on Commentary for a few weeks and his replacement has been revealed.

On last night’s RAW Talk, WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler revealed that he will be replacing Corey for the next few weeks on RAW.

Below is what Lawler told RAW Talk hosts Jackie Redmond and Matt Camp:

“I am looking forward to it. I’m going to be back behind the announcer’s table there on Monday Night RAW because that idiot Corey Graves is getting married!”

Corey said the following about his wedding with Carmella during an interview with The Athletic last week:

“Tuesday morning, I get on a plane and fly to Fort Lauderdale. Because Thursday, we’re getting married. Why try to relax after a busy professional week? Let’s go right into the biggest life event we could possibly have.”

Speaking of next week’s RAW, the following matches have been announced:

– Sasha Banks & Naomi (c) vs. Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

– AJ Styles vs. Damian Priest

– Rey Mysterio vs. Veer Mahaan

• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW/WWF Legend “DDP” Diamond Dallas Page (Real name: Page Joseph Falkinburg) celebrates his 66th birthday today.

Diamond Dallas Page, who was driving his pink caddilac to the ring during Rythm & Blues’ entrance at WWF WrestleMania 6, originally started as a manager in the AWA, PWF (Florida) and by 1991 also in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, where he managed The Fabulous Freebirds Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin.

But Dallas eventually ended up going to WCW’s very own “Power Plant” wrestling school and learned the ropes to become a professional wrestler.

DDP turned into a key figure for WCW in their rivalry against the New World Order, and their TV-ratings-battle against the World Wrestling Federation during the Monday Night War, and even went on to capture the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on 3 occasions.

In 2001, when Vince McMahon bought WCW, Page was among the stars that got signed to a WWF contract right away.

In 2017, the night before WrestleMania 33, he got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his old friend Eric Bischoff.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DDP!
