On the latest episode of his weekly ‘Pro Wrestling 4 Life’ podcast, 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer X-Pac (aka Sean Waltman aka The 1-2-3 Kid) said that he thinks Daniel Bryan should work for other wrestling promotions while being under a WWE contract.

X-Pac noted that it would actually benefit the WWE.

Here’s what the former D-Generation X & nWo member said about Bryan:

“That’s smart of him because he’s trying to preserve his relationship with the company and still be able to go out there and do things to satisfy himself at this stage of his life and career.

I think it would behoove the company to let him do that, honestly.

I’m not saying, ‘Hey, go ahead and go main event an AEW pay-per-view’ or something, but if he wanted to go out and do his own thing and even produce it himself, good for him.”

Bryan lost to Roman Reigns in a Universal Championship match in the main event of tonight’s SmackDown. With this loss, Bryan’s career on SmackDown is over and he can never wrestle on the blue brand ever again.

Bryan recently noted that his WWE contract is set to expire soon and he’d like to wrestle for other companies:

“My contract is up soon. We need to figure out what a good balance between home life and wrestling. I never want to stop wrestling, I love it, it’s just figuring that out.

It’d be interesting if I could wrestle in different companies and WWE. That’s something I’m trying to weasel my way into right now.”
