WWE Hall Of Famer Says He’s Tired Of Fans Knocking Baron Corbin

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (March 22, 2009) – Old School WWF Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2009, we lost Old School WWF Tag Team Veteran Steven Dunn (Real name: Steve Doll) at the age of 48 due to a blood clot, that reached his heart.

If you were watching World Wrestling Federation TV in 1993-1995, you will remember him as one half of the mid-card Tag Team ‘Well Dunn’ with his Tag Team partner Timothy Well (Rex King).

They were managed by Harvey Wippleman and feuded with The Bushwhackers for most of their WWF career.

Steven Dunn was also an entrant in the 1995 Royal Rumble match, just like his Tag Team partner Timothy Well.

† REST IN PEACE STEVEN DUNN!

• WWE Hall Of Famer Says He’s Tired Of Fans Knocking Baron Corbin

During a recent edition of E&C’s Pod Of Awesomeness podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Edge talked about Kurt Angle announcing that he’ll face Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.

Below is what the Rated R Superstar said:

“You know if you’re talking about storyline, yes it does make sense. I do however think that the name I mentioned last week makes more sense in terms of the entire span of their careers…John Cena…maybe he’s in Zimbabwe or China or wherever shooting a movie with Jackie Chan.

In terms of if you look at it and say, right. Cena came out in Chicago to take Kurt Angle’s challenge I don’t know 18 years ago or whatever it was. For Kurt to be able to announce his WrestleMania opponent in the same building that happened it just seemed like such serendipity so there’s gotta be a reason why that didn’t happen.

You know I’m tired of people always knocking Corbin, man. He’s a talented dude. I know in the internet realm that’s not a popular opinion, but he’s a big, big, big man who can move and I like him. So it is great for him to be put in that slot and no matter where they go with the finish it’s a cool place for him to be.”
