On this day in 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Superstars of Wrestling’.
This episode was pre-taped at the Wilkes University Marts Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and featured matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF SummerSlam 1993’ PPV.

• WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks Big E Needs To Change His Look In Order To Be A World Champion
The New Day’s Big E will be going solo on SmackDown, as his partners, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, are currently out of action.
While speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, two time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T discussed the upcoming singles run for Big E and said that he needs to change his look if he wants to be a top star.
Below is what the former 6 time World Champion said:
“Well, there again like you just said right there. I think Big E’s gonna have to shed a few things in order for people to look at him like the World Champion, and I don’t know if it’s the gear maybe? Some forms of the gear.
The colors as well but then again, people will say, ‘Oh, he shouldn’t change anything’ so I’m not gonna sit here and say just because I don’t want the internet going off or saying, ‘Booker T’s saying he needs to do this’ just like Matt Riddle needs to put on a pair of boots.
That’s another story but I just think Big E still trying to be The New Day is not going to work for him as far as him working at the top of the card. I’m talking about being the main attraction. I’m talking about being the guy that the company has put in position to be the guy.
I don’t think that’s gonna catapult him to that level as far as still trying to be The New Day and the thing is, you can’t try to rehash something that you’ve been doing for so long and think that’s what’s gonna take you to the top.”
