• WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks Kofi Kingston Should Act More Serious As The WWE Champion

During a recent edition of The Jim Ross Report, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross had the following to say regarding Kevin Owens turning heel on WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Kofi’s attitude:

“Owens is a much better heel than a babyface. He’s a big time talent in my view. So is Kofi. Somebody needs to tell Kofi that hopping to the ring, carefree, happy, smiling — I don’t know if that fits the [WWE] Champion. Especially when you’re a marked man.

The days of the six-man tags with New Day…it’s a different ballgame now. You’re the man. Everybody’s gonna give you their best shot. At least they should, right?

So the happier, carefree demeanour may be fun for children, who can laugh at the antics. Not so much for the older fans…18-34, 18-49.

So, just saying that maybe somebody that’s producing Kofi might wanna suggest that you figure out how you’re perceived when you’re introduced, and sometimes maybe, that perception of Kofi is not indicative of who is he is. I’m a big fan of his by the way.”
