• WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks Vince McMahon Put Him In The Hall Of Fame To Apologize To Him
During a recent appearance on ‘Why It Ended’ podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Koko B.Ware talked about his WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Koko talked about how ‘High Energy’ (his tag team with Owen Hart) were in-line to become WWF Tag Team Champions, but Vince McMahon decided to break up the team have Owen turn heel to feud with Bret Hart.
That was the end of Koko’s WWF career and Vince told Koko that him weeding out is the nature of the business and that he wouldn’t hesitate in firing his own mother if he had to.
Koko then noted that he feels Vince inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame as a way to apologize to him for letting him go.
Below is what Koko said:
“I guess he might have said, ‘well let’s put Koko in there’. Instead of coming and saying, ‘Koko, I’m sorry,’ you know, ‘well let’s just put him in the Hall of Fame and give him a little money.’
But that’s the only thing I got out of it. Now, somebody else, whatever somebody else said they got out of the Hall of Fame, I don’t know. But I got $5,000 and a ring for the rest of my life.”
