On this day in Pro Wrestling history on March 18, 2001, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Greed’ LIVE on PPV from the Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida.

This was the last WCW pay-per-view, before the company was sold to Vince McMahon only a couple of days later.

• WWE Hall Of Famer Wrestled His Final Match Last Night

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE Hall of Famer “Bullet” Bob Armstrong wrestled his final match last night in Pensacola, FL.

Armstrong is 79 years old and this is his 59th year in Professional Wrestling. His son, soon to be WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg, was in attendance and introduced his father for the match.

During his lengthy wrestling career, Armstrong went on to capture 60 NWA affiliated Titles!!!
