Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring The Rock’s daughter Ava and Hulk Hogan.

• WWE reportedly has major plans for Ava, the current NXT General Manager and daughter of The Rock. Signed in 2020, Ava made her in-ring debut at Stand & Deliver in 2023 before transitioning into her GM role after her time with Schism.

According to WrestleVotes, Ava is expected to receive significant backing from the company in the near future:

“Creative has begun putting plans in motion for NXT General Manager Ava to be featured more prominently on TV, as well as have merchandise and character ties to her father, alluding to his Final Boss persona.

We are told plans could include her playing off the Final Boss character on TV as a way to raise her importance. Ava, from all accounts as well-liked and could have a big future with the company.”

On the NXT New Year’s Evil 2025 episode, The Rock declared Ava as the Final Boss of NXT.

• During an interview on Good Morning Football, Seth Rollins was asked about his thoughts on Hulk Hogan getting booed on the RAW Netflix premiere. Here’s what Rollins said:

“I am all for people getting what they deserve. That’s how I feel about Hulk Hogan getting booed. If you are getting booed by the masses, there is a reason for it. I don’t know if Hulk fully understands the scope but people get what they deserve. So I’m happy to see it. I love to see it.

Look, I’ve said this before about the Hulkster, he’s the guy that got me into this industry as far as love for professional wrestling. So I’ll never take that away from him, what he’s done for our business, I’ll never take that away from him.

But I do think there’s some responsibility that he needs to own up to that he hasn’t yet. Maybe when he finally figures that out, he might be able to move forward with our fans. So we’ll see.”
