Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.
• Fans hoping for former Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss’s WWE return will need to remain patient, as plans for her comeback have been shelved indefinitely.
According to PWInsider, WWE creative was recently instructed to halt all storyline plans involving Bliss, despite earlier plans for her return on RAW in San Jose, which included a potential connection to The Wyatt Sicks faction.
While Bliss was reportedly ready to return, the faction’s storyline has since shifted to SmackDown and is now being developed independently of her involvement.
The reason for the sudden change is unclear, though speculation points to a potential contract issue. Bliss is still operating under a deal predating her recent time off, during which she had her first child.
Bliss is not currently featured in any creative pitches for the Women’s Royal Rumble match, eliminating the possibility of her return as a surprise entrant.
Despite initial expectations that she would return by WrestleMania season, her last WWE appearance remains Royal Rumble 2023. For now, her status in WWE remains in limbo.

• WWE is set to launch an exciting new series, WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), on A&E later this year. The show, reminiscent of Tough Enough, will feature aspiring wrestlers competing for a coveted WWE contract while receiving mentorship from some of wrestling’s most iconic figures.
Legendary names like The Undertaker, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubba Ray Dudley are confirmed as mentors, guiding the contestants through intensive training, weekly matches, and lessons on the behind-the-scenes workings of the wrestling industry. Matches for the show are being taped during weekly NXT TV events at the WWE Performance Center.
Ric Flair, who recently parted ways with AEW, has also filmed a segment for the series, recorded earlier this month at the Performance Center, according to PWInsider. While Flair’s involvement in WWE LFG marks his return to a WWE-related project, it remains unclear if he has signed a Legends deal with the company.
The show promises to highlight the next generation of wrestling stars while celebrating the legacy of WWE’s greatest legends.
