8. Matt Morgan Rips Conor McGregor For Speaking Crap About Wrestling To Generate Interest For His Fight
As we all know, UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor claimed that he would slap the head off every WWE wrestler.
During an appearance on the WrestlingInc podcast, below is what former WWE wrestler Matt Morgan said:
“A part of that watches him and thinks that he really believes his own B.S., he really thinks he is Johnny Tough guy. I’m not saying every wrestler in the world would beat him up, but I have money on more wrestlers beating his a$$ than not. My two year old is taller than this kid. While pro wrestling is scripted, it is filled with legitimate tough guys that work hurt non-stop and can throw down and that this is just a profession they chose as opposed to legitimately fighting. He would have a tougher time getting on a roller coaster ride than putting a chink in my armor… I would punt that little sawed-off midget piss-ant halfway across Orlando.”
7. What Was The Original Finish of Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor Match on Raw?
Roman Reigns & Finn Balor fought a couple of weeks ago on Raw for a spot in the Universal Championship match at SummerSlam 2016. The match ended with Balor defeating Reigns clean in the match and earning the right to face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship.
However, that match wasn’t supposed to end that way. The original finish was for Balor to duck a Superman Punch from Reigns and then roll him up to get the win, thus keeping Reigns strong in the process as well.
But with Roman being in the doghouse for failing the Wellness policy while being the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, expect him to take more clean losses on WWE Programming.
