• WWE Is Open To The Idea Of Being Sold

During an appearance on Recode Media podcast, WWE President Nick Khan was asked if Vince McMahon is open to the idea of selling WWE.

Here’s what Nick said:

“We’re open for business on anything and everything. Even some of the business plans that we’ve announced recently are different and unique to what the company has traditionally done.

We’re open for business. If somebody called, we’ll listen, but we’re not active or out on the marketplace trying to change that structure.”

Rumors of WWE being sold have been going on for a while now, as WWE has been releasing a lot of talent due to “budget cuts”, which led to people thinking about the sale.

WWE has released 119 names so far in 2020 & 2021 (tap here to check out the complete list).
