• WWE Is Planning Another Major Return Soon
Charlotte Flair was last seen on WWE programming at the WrestleMania Backlash 2022 premium live event.
At this event, she lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” Match.
The Queen has been on a hiatus ever since, and even got married to AEW wrestler Andrade El Idolo during this ongoing time off.
Flair has been training for her return to the ring. On her Instagram story, she noted that she had an in-ring training session with NXT wrestlers Zoey Stark & Alba Fyre:
According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE Creative is making plans for Charlotte’s return. It looks like she’ll be back in time for Royal Rumble 2023.
As we reported earlier, John Cena is also returning to WWE programming, on the December 30th episode of SmackDown.

On this day in 1990, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.
It was broadcasted from the Onondoga War Memorial in Syracuse, New York and featured pre-taped matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1991’ PPV.
