• WWE Is Still In Talks With Top Star
AJ Styles chose to bring his WWE journey full circle at Royal Rumble 2026, creating a poetic bookend to a decade-long run in the company. By selecting the January 31 event in Riyadh for his final bow, Styles ensured his tenure ended at the same landmark show where he first shocked the world in 2016.
According to PWInsider, The Phenomenal One had been in active negotiations with WWE regarding his future, but as the Rumble approached without a signed extension, the company moved forward with the career-threatening match against Gunther. While Styles put on a vintage performance, he ultimately passed out in a sleeper hold, fulfilling the career-threatening stipulation and signaling the end of his in-ring time with the promotion.
Despite the emotional send-off, the relationship between Styles and WWE is still in motion. The two sides are reportedly continuing talks about AJ’s future in the company, though no new contract has been finalized as of this writing.
If his current deal lapses, Styles will become a free agent, sparking inevitable interest from AEW, NJPW, and TNA. However, those close to the situation suggest that AJ is not currently looking for a new place to wrestle.
Having dictated the terms of his exit, he appears content to step away from the ring on his own feet, focusing on life after the spotlight.

• WWE Talent Made Her Final Appearance Last Night
A few days back, Kelly Kincaid announced that her contract with WWE will officially expire on February 14, confirming that she is leaving the company.
Last night’s NXT was her final WWE appearance. Here’s what she tweeted after the show: “Kelly Kincaid – signing off.”
Kincaid joined WWE in February 2022, initially serving as the ring announcer for NXT Level Up. Over her four-year run, she transitioned into one of the company’s primary backstage interviewers on the NXT brand, conducting interviews and presenting segments as part of the weekly production.
Before WWE, she competed on the independent scene and in Ring of Honor under the ring name Quinn McKay, where she captured the ECWA Women’s Championship during her in-ring career.
During her WWE tenure, Kincaid briefly stepped away for maternity leave in 2024, returning to television in March 2025 after welcoming her first child.
With her WWE contract set to end soon, Kincaid’s future plans have not been announced. Her prior experience as both an in-ring competitor and a broadcast personality leaves open the possibility of new opportunities in wrestling or related media.
