13. Major Spoiler On The Cruiserweight Championship Match At Survivor Series 2016
As we noted during this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, SmackDown’s Kalisto will challenge the WWE Cruiserweight Champion, The Brian Kendrick from Raw, for the Title at Survivor Series 2016.
If Kalisto defeats Kendrick to become the new Cruiserweight Champion, then the Title will come to SmackDown Live and the whole Cruiserweight Division will be transferred to the blue brand as well.
The current plan is for Kalisto to defeat Kendrick to become the new Cruiserweight Champion. It should be noted that a new show for the Cruiserweights is debuting soon, named “205 Live”. This show will air live after SmackDown Live every week. So it makes sense that WWE wants to bring the Cruiserweights to the blue brand and be exclusively featured on this new show.
