WWE Made Big Changes To Extreme Rules 2018 PPV, Title Feud Expected To Continue On SmackDown Live

Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley Extreme Rules 2018

• Title Feud Expected To Continue On SmackDown Live

It looks like the feud between Carmella and Asuka for the SmackDown Women’s Championship will continue.

Below is what WWE posted about this feud that hinted about Asuka continuing her quest to win the SmackDown Women’s Title:

How will Asuka react to her loss to Carmella?

“Asuka may have thought she had Carmella all to herself with James Ellsworth suspended above the ring in a shark cage. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop Ellsworth from meddling in the bout, first by dropping foreign objects into the ring to the SmackDown Women’s Champion, then by escaping the cage and inadvertently distracting The Empress of Tomorrow, allowing Carmella to shove Asuka head-first into the cage and steal the victory.

Though Asuka got a measure of payback on Ellsworth by pummeling him as he dangled upside down from the cage, she did not leave Pittsburgh with the SmackDown Women’s Title. Will her hunt for the gold continue on SmackDown LIVE?”

• Andrade “Cien” Almas Challenges Big Names On SmackDown Live

Andrade “Cien” Almas has been on a roll since debuting on the WWE main roster. He has shown incredible athleticism and intensity in the ring since joining the blue brand. Almas is yet to lose a match on the main roster.

With the Sin Cara feud over now, it looks like Almas will be moving on to bigger things. The former NXT Champion looks ready for some major competition and has called out some top talents of SmackDown Live in a tweet:

Zelina Vega continues to promise big things in the future for Almas. Perhaps, a title shot soon?

• WWE Made Big Changes To Extreme Rules 2018 PPV

WWE had originally planned a completely different pattern for the Extreme Rules 2018 pay-per-view, but we saw another one on our screens.

PWInsider reports that the Intercontinental Championship match between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler was set to open the show. The last hour of the event was originally set to feature AJ Styles defending the WWE Championship against Rusev, Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss and to close out the event with Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley.

Due to some reason, WWE changed the pattern of matches later that day.
