The match card for tonight’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event has seen a last-minute change. WWE quietly took the World Tag Team Championships off the line for the tag team match involving AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

The show is already set to be one of the biggest of the year, with John Cena’s final match against GUNTHER closing the night. However, WWE made a sudden and unexplained move by removing the title stipulation from the scheduled tag team bout.

The match was set to see the champions, Styles and Lee, take on two rising stars, Je’Von Evans and the TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater. WWE’s official website had previously and clearly listed this as a championship defense, as seen in the screenshot below:

Now, just hours before the event in Washington, D.C., WWE has changed the official match preview online, listing the match as a standard tag team contest with no titles at stake.

Saturday Night’s Main Event Is Completely Sold Out

The final match of John Cena’s legendary career has made his last event a massive success, as WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is now completely sold out. The company has distributed every available ticket for tonight’s show at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

WrestleTix confirmed the sellout just hours before the event’s start time, with a total of 19,176 tickets distributed for the match against GUNTHER.

The numbers for this show are much higher than WWE’s average attendance for 2025, which sits at about 11,259 tickets. Tonight’s final count beats that average by nearly 8,000 seats.

In fact, WWE used almost all of the available space in the arena, with 19,300 seats marked on the map. The popularity of the event also drove up ticket prices.

For those who did not buy tickets early, there are only a few hundred seats left on the resale market. Cena’s last match has proven that fans will pay top dollar to see the end of his time in the ring.
