Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Brock Lesnar and Triple H.
• Brock Lesnar has been removed from the WWE 2K Supercard mobile game following his involvement in a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis.
Grant alleges she was $exually assaulted during her employment at WWE Headquarters and claims McMahon instructed her to provide $exual favors to Lesnar to secure his contract renewal.
As a result, Lesnar was replaced in the Men’s 2024 Royal Rumble match, and PWInsider reports that 2K games and other licensees will downplay his presence.
In an update, WWE Shop has now placed almost all of merchandise items related to Brock Lesnar on discount sale.
• During the Royal Rumble post-show press conference, Triple H said he didn’t read the Vince McMahon lawsuit.
The Wrestling Observer provided the following details about the reaction of WWE stars to this situation:
“According to one main roster star, nobody has talked to them about the situation from management, other than to tell them that Vince won’t be back. Instead they were told how successful the Royal Rumble was and how big the new Netflix deal is.
It was added that one star said it was hard not to have read the lawsuit and ‘you’d have to be living under a rock if you didn’t read it’.”
