9. Eden Released From WWE
WWE ring announcer Eden, who is the wife of former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes, has been released from WWE. Here’s what WWE posted: “WWE has granted Eden (wife of Cody Rhodes) her request to be released, as of today, May 24, 2016. WWE wishes Eden the best in all her future endeavors.”
After Cody & Eden left WWE, there was some speculation that Goldust might be leaving as well. Goldust addressed this on Twitter with the following statement:
A lot of people asking me if I’m leaving. NOT planning on it.
8. Roman Reigns Lays Out Kevin Owens After Raw
As we saw on Raw, Kevin Owens defeated AJ Styles in the main event of Raw to qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder match. After Raw went off the air, Owens cut a promo where he talked about how he’ll win the Money in the Bank contract and win the WWE World Title. He went on to say he doesn’t care if he has to beat Seth Rollins, or he has to destroy The Roman Empire to capture the Title.
