7. AJ Styles Dealing With Back Issues
We noted yesterday that “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles is currently dealing with some injuries. Due to this, he didn’t compete on this week’s SmackDown. He has also been pulled from this weekend’s WWE Live Events.
Word is that Styles is dealing with back issues again. He dealt with these back issues last year as well due to overworking in the Independent Scene.
WWE is now giving him some rest as they want to ensure he is ready to go during his WWE World Title Extreme Rules match against “The Guy” Roman Reigns on May 22nd at Extreme Rules 2016.
6. Finn Balor & Samoa Joe Engage In A Wild Brawl At NXT Live Event
During last night’s NXT Live Event in Portland, Oregon, NXT Champion Samoa Joe & Finn Balor engaged in a wild brawl. The whole NXT roster came out to separate them.
In a backstage interview, William Regal said this brawl will have implications on their NXT Title match at the next NXT Takeover event.
As we reported before, Balor & Joe are expected to battle at the next Takeover event in the 1st ever NXT Steel Cage match. This is the stipulation that Regal will add when he addresses this situation on Facebook Live Tuesday morning.
